Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 27, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Dive Tools (“we,” “us,” “this site”) handles information when you use the calculators at divetools.cju.com.
Short version
We don’t collect personal information, don’t track you, don’t use cookies (beyond what your browser needs to function), and don’t share data with anyone. Calculator inputs and results stay in your browser — we never see them.
Information we do not collect
- We do not require you to create an account or sign in
- We do not collect your name, email address, or any personal identifiers
- We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any similar tracking tools
- We do not use advertising cookies
- We do not sell or share data with third parties because we do not have data to share
Information stored on your device
Some calculators offer optional features that save your inputs locally in your browser using a feature called localStorage. This includes:
- Calculator settings and preferences (e.g., imperial vs. metric units)
- Saved templates (when you choose to save one)
- Archived completed checklists (when you choose to save one)
This information is stored only on your device. It does not leave your browser, and we have no way to access it. You can clear this data at any time through your browser’s settings, or via “reset” buttons within individual calculators.
Server logs
This site is hosted on A2 Hosting. Like most web servers, the host may log basic information about page requests (IP addresses, timestamps, browser type) for security and operational purposes. We do not access these logs for analytics or tracking purposes.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect any information from children.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this policy — for example, if we add user accounts, analytics, or other features that involve handling personal data — we’ll update this page and the “Last updated” date above.
